This is a call for a 4-year PhD position at Radboud University.

The PhD position will allow you to learn cutting-edge techniques in the calculus of variations to study problems in materials science, particularly on the self-assembly of polymers.
The goal of this project is to provide a sound understanding of the mechanisms that regulate pattern formation in such complex systems by using rigorous mathematical tools.

The project will be supervised by Riccardo Cristoferi and is funded by the grant NWO-OCENW.M.23.395 - ASAP: Analysis of Self Assembly in Polymers.

The position includes funding for participating to conferences and visiting collaborators. Teaching is 10% of the usual teaching load.
