The Department of Decision Sciences of Bocconi University in Milan, invites applications for a *Tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Mathematical Analysis*, with a focus on one of the topical modern areas, including e.g. partial differential equations, calculus of variations and geometric measure theory, geometric analysis and Riemannian geometry, dynamical systems, harmonic and stochastic analysis, and possibly their applications, in particular in economics, optimization, control and machine learning.

The appointment will begin in Fall 2025.

Applicants should have, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. and demonstrate high research potential. 
Compensation and teaching load will be competitive with other top European Schools.

The tenure track will run for up to eight years (with one paid sabbatical year). There is the possibility of promotion to a tenured position by the end of that period or before.

The review of applications will begin on November 1, 2024 and continue until this position is filled, the ultimate deadline for applications is December 15, 2024.
