Candidates are expected to have experience or interest in developing a research program in Mathematics of Machine Learning, including optimization methods for machine learning, optimal transport, deep learning methods solving high-dimensional (and possibly infinite-dimensional) partial differential equations and machine learning methods for scientific discovery.
