Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna. 

The positions are associated with the chair for Applied Mathematics and Modeling (Ulisse Stefanelli). 
Candidates are highly qualified researchers with a strong background in calculus of variations or evolution equations, also of stochastic type. Interests of the group include materials modeling and discrete systems, with a focus on multiphysics effects in solids. 

Position 1: 3 years, 4 weekly hours of teaching (English or German),

Position 2: 2 years, no teaching.

The start date on 1.1.22 is intended as flexible. Later appointments will also be considered. The yearly gross salary is 55K€.
