STARS (Supporting TAlent in ReSearch at University of Padova) Grants -  
call for proposals.

UniPD intends to promote and encourage high quality, innovative and  
ambitious research in Padova, with the final goal to strengthen the  
ability to attract external competitive grants, in particular those  
awarded by the European Research Council. STARS Grants are envisaged  
to fund research projects for the duration of two years; each project  
may be funded up to a maximum of 140,000 Euros. STARS Starting Grants  
may include the cost of a two-year 'Research Fellow' contract for the  
PI (maximum 80,000 Euros) plus a maximum funding of 100,000 Euros.
