Dear Colleague,

we would like to draw your attention to a 1-year postdoctoral position
in Probability/Mathematical Physics within the joint project Roma
Tre-Marseille "HYPATIE A*MIDEX".

Interested candidates should have a strong background either in
Probability Theory (random matrices, random graphs, interacting
particle systems, Markov chains) and/or Mathematical Physics
(mathematical statistical physics, dynamical systems and quantum
mechanics). The local group in Roma Tre active in the above topics
include P. Caputo, M. Correggi, G. Gentile, A. Giuliani, F.
Martinelli, A. Pellegrinotti and E. Scoppola. The research project
will be agreed and carried on with the team members of the Hypatie
project.

The appointment is for one year, starting in January or February 2016.
The position is based at the Department of Mathematics and Physics of
the University of Roma Tre. It comes with a competitive salary and no
teaching duties.

In order to apply the candidate should send a cv including a list of
publications, two letters of recommendation and a short research
statement to caputo at mat.uniroma3.it by October 25, 2015.

by a FIR grant of the italian ministry of university (MIUR) and based
at Roma Tre, has recently been opened, see
