    "Homogenization of Equivariant Hamilton-Jacobi equations"

    Abstract
    In this talk I would like to discuss the homogenization problem for
    Hamilton-Jacobi equations, in the case of Tonelli Hamiltonians which
    are invariant under the action of a discrete group. This different
    point of view, besides providing a general setting that embraces
    previous results in the literature (from the classical work by
    Lions, Papanicolaou and Varadhan to the more recent one by
    Contreras, Iturriaga and Siconolfi), will allow us to get a clearer
    understanding of the geometry of the limit space and of the
    structure of the homogenized problem.
