PhD and Postdoc Position at the Chair of Applied Analysis, TU Dresden

At the Chair of Applied Analysis (Prof. Stefan Neukamm)
  a phd position (50% of the fulltime weekly hours) and
  a postdoc position (100% of the fulltime weekly hours)
are advertised.

Research on topics include homogenization of partial differential
equations with periodic/stochastic coefficients and multiscale analysis
of variational problems with applications in materials modelling.
Candidates should have a strong knowledge in the theory of partial
differential equations, the calculus of variations, and should be
interested in applications in the sciences.
