Dear friends and collegues,

I wish to point your attention to some positions which are currently
open at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Erlangen (in
the chair of Mathematical Analysis, Prof. Pratelli). The first one is a
Junior Professor (W1) position, which can last from 3 up to 6 years, the
second one is one (or more) postdoc position for the period September
2014-August 2015. Both positions are in the quite general field of the
Mathematical Analysis, with a particular emphasis in the Calculus of
Variations and in the Geometric Measure Theory (but without restrictions
to other directions).

Every application is welcome, and I sincerely hope to receive
applications from strong candidates. Hence, I would be very grateful if
you could spread the news among the possible good candidates that you
know.

IMPORTANT: The deadline for the applications for the Junior Professor
position is on March 28th. Instead, the deadline for the applications to
the postdoc positions is on April 30th.
