One PhD position is available in the PDE group at the Technical
University Dresden.

Candidates should have a solid background in partial differential
equations or
the calculus of variations.

The position has no teaching duties.

The starting date is 1 October 2014. The appointment will be for three
years.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and copies of the relevant
certificates
via Email to Peter Hornung (peter.hornung at tu-dresden.de).
If possible, candidates should arrange to have two letters of
recommendation
sent directly to this address.

In order to receive full consideration, applications should arrive no
later than 10 July 2014. Applications submitted after that date will
be considered until the position is filled.
