A *postdoc**position in mathematical biology*is available in the
research group
/*Mathematics with Applications to Biology and Medicine*/
at the University of Kaiserslautern (Germany).
Applications are invited for the above mentioned position (salary
bracket TV-L 13), which involves research duties according to the German
statutory rules and is limited for 2 years. It is made available in the
framework of a DFG project concerned with the mathematical modeling of
acid-mediated tumor invasion.
The successful applicant should have a PhD degree with outstanding
results in mathematics. Further requirements are:
? a strong background in the analysis of partial differential equations
and their numerics;
? good knowldege of stochastic processes and stochastic differential
equations;
? active interestin interdisciplinary research and collaboration with
our partners from biology and medicine.
The University of Kaiserslautern wishes to increase the proportion of
female academic staff and therefore especially welcomes applications

persons will be given preference in case of equal qualifications.
