A 3 year PhD position (50% TV-L13) is available from April 2013 at the Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics of the University of Münster 
(Germany).

The topics are Calculus of Variations, Gamma-convergence, Homogenization, and Materials Science.

A Diploma or Master degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is required.
The successful applicant will have a solid background in Analysis, with particular emphasis on Calculus of Variations.
