4- Ph. D. and Postdoc positions - Erlangen
(source: A. Pratelli)

Dear colleagues, as many of you know I have just moved to the University
of Erlangen.

I have then some positions to fill here, both for Ph.D. students and for
Post-doc (some
of the positions will be covered by the ERC Starting Grant of which I am
responsible,
while others are covered directly by the university).

The positions will be devoted to research in Analysis, more specifically
in Calculus of
Variations and PDE, under different points of view. Moreover, there is a
broad flexibility
regarding the starting date of the positions.

For more informations, one can look at the web page

http://www.analysis.math.fau.de/staff-members/pratelli-aldo/prof-dr-aldo-pratelli/positions/post-doc-and-phd-positions.html

and/or send me an email.

I would be very grateful if you could spread this news among all the
potentially interested
people.

Organisateurs: Johanne Cohen, Universit Versaille St-Quentin.
                Laurent Gourvs, Universit Paris Dauphine.
                Stefano Moretti, Universit Paris Dauphine.

10- Congrs SMAI 2013 (27-31 mai 2013) : appel a minisymposia
(source: J.F. Bonnans, A. Lejay)

tous cas
avant le 30 novembre (date limite)
 l'adresse
Minisymposia.SMAI2013 at fsmp.fr <mailto:Minisymposia.SMAI2013 at fsmp.fr>

14- Nouveau livre : "Archimedes' Modern Works"
(source: B. Beauzamy)

Modern Works":

http://scmsa.eu/archives/SCM_Archimedes_order.htm

d'Archimde" permet
d'apporter des solutions robustes des questions scientifiques
d'actualit : optique, contrle
non destructif, etc.
