Subject: Differential and topological problems in modern theoretical physics

Dear Colleagues,
this is the first announcement of the workshop

Differential and topological problems in modern theoretical
physics

to be held at SISSA in Trieste, on April 26-30, 2010.

The aim of the workshop is to present to the participants a
number of physical models and the differential and/or topological
problems there involved, and to discuss the functional analytical
framework useful for their study.

The workshop will consist of four mini-courses and nine seminars,
plus possibly some contributions from young researchers in the
form of short talks or poster presentations.

For any information, please visit the website

http://www.sissa.it/fa/difftop2010/

or contact the organizers.

Some funds are available to cover the local expenses of Ph.D.
students and young researchers. The deadline to apply for funding
is March 19th, 2010.

All participants, supported or not, are required to register by
March 26th, 2010 using the on line form on the web site.

We hope you can help us to advertise this initiative by forwarding
this message to students, young researchers and collegues who could
be interested in the event. We also attach a poster in pdf form for
you to post in your department: the poster is also available on the
web site mentioned above. We apologize in case of cross posting.

Best regards

 	Gabriella Tarantello and Andrea Malchiodi
