Prof. Yuri Porozov (Ist. di Fisiol. Clinica (CNR, Pisa) and Univ. of Inf. Tech., Mecc. and Opt. (San Pietroburgo)

Title: "Proteins, their structure and motion."

Abstract. Some aspects of protein biology will be highlighted. The presentation will cover basic structural properties of proteins, ways for experimental and mathematical prediction of their motion. Our approach on the use of mass-transfer theory in implementation to prediction of long-range motion of proteins will be discussed.
