Dear colleagues, liebe Kollegen (and friends of Bonn :)),

allow me to bring to your attention that Riccardo Nochetto will give a three 
week lecture series on ``Adaptive FEM: Theory and Applications to Geometric 
PDE'' in the period 20. January - 5. February 2009. You will find more

This particular lecture has been proposed and is organized by Soeren Bartels.

In particular, the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics provides financial support 
to junior participants from outside! It would be nice if you'd ask around in 
your group if somebody is interested in participating. You'll obtain more 
information from the web-page or from Soeren Bartels directly.
