As part of the "Ricci curvature" trimester hosted by the Institut Henri Poincare
in Paris (April-June 2008) and coordinated by Gerard Besson, John Lott and Gang Tian, 
there will be in Lyon a large-audience conference in geometry

The goal of this conference is to present various points of view on contemporary
research in geometry, curvature being of course a key notion.

The themes of the IHP trimester (Ricci flow, geometrization, metric geometry...)
will be well represented in this conference, but also other branches of geometry.
This conference is not for specialists only.
