RESEARCH COUNCILS ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIPS IN ANALYSIS AND PARTIAL
DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

The Department has been awarded two Research Councils UK Academic
Fellowships in the area of "Analysis and Partial Differential
Equations".  These are intended to provide postdoctoral researchers
with a more attractive and stable path into academia and comprise a
five year research fellowship with light but increasing teaching
duties.  The University will guarantee a permanent academic position,
following successful completion of the five-year Academic Fellowship.

Applicants should have sufficient postdoctoral experience to
demonstrate outstanding research potential in any aspect of the
modern theory of partial differential equations and must not
have a permanent position currently.

Salary will be on Research Grade 1A (GBP 19,460 - GBP 29,128).
