PROGRESS IN PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Edinburgh, 9-13 July 2001
The meeting will be held at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 22,24 George
Street, Edinburgh
The main purpose of the meeting is to bring together leading experts in
this
broad and fast-moving area with the objective of highlighting recent
important
developments. Particular attention will be paid to developments in PDEs
that
relate to the sciences and other areas of mathematics such as geometry,
the
calculus of variations, dynamical. systems and stochastic analysis.
