Abstract.

I present some results, obtained in collaboration with G. Crasta, concerning the well-posedness of boundary value problems for systems of PDE's of Monge-Kantorovich type. This kind of problems arise from Granular Matter Theory in order to describe the stable configurations of sandpiles obtained by pouring sand on a container with flat surface and a variable profile of the rim.
