The Faculty for Mathematics and Informatics of the Westfälische Wilhelms-University, Muenster, Germany, invites applicants for two Research Associate and / or Postdoc positions for Analysis and Modeling (in exceptional cases also PhD-candidates can be considered)

We are looking for excellent young scientists doing research in the field of Analysis of Partial Differential Equations, i.e. qualitative analysis of (non)linear PDE and/ or Calculus of Variations and / or homogenizations etc. with additional expertise in Modelling of Scientific Problems. Candidates should actively take part also in interdisciplinary research projects, especially Biology and Medicine.

These positions are for 2 years, with the possibility of an extension to up to 5 years.

Prerequisite for the application is a university degree, which is usually proven by a dissertation´s quality. The dissertation should date back no longer than five years. For PhD-candidates a master degree or diploma is necessary. We actively encourage applications from suitably qualified women. Female candidates with equivalent qualifications and academic achievements will be preferentially considered.
