This thematic week encompasses three activities:
- An introductory course by Sławomir Kolasinski: Rapid course on geometric measure theory and the theory of varifolds.
- A mini-course by Ulrich Menne: Weakly differentiable functions and Sobolev functions on varifolds.
- Additional talks and workshop sessions during the week. See the website for a list of invited speakers.

There will be some space for additional talks, too, and special attention will be given to younger researchers. If you wish to give a talk, please mention it in your registration e-mail and include a 10 to 15 lines abstract.
Some funding will be available for younger participants (especially doctoral students and post doctoral researchers).
