The position are available for 3 years, starting BETWEEN January 2nd<br>
AND OCTOBER 1st. 2012.<br>

Teaching load of one course a year, starting on the second year.<br>

SOME BASIC KNOLLEDGE OF SPANISH IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED.<br>

Applicants should have obtained or expect to receive a PhD in Mathematics<br>
OR Applied Mathematics in the last 5 YEARS.<br>

THE POSITIONS ARE OPEN TO ALL AREAS OF MATHEMATICS BUT PREFERENCE WILL BE<br>
GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WHOSE RESEARCH INTERESTS ARE RELATED TO THOSE OF THE<br>
FACULTY AT CIMAT : ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRY, ANALYSIS, DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS,<br>
DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY, TOPOLOGY AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS.<br>

CIMAT IS A LEADING INSTITUTION IN RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICS IN MEXICO AND<br>
PROVIDES A VERY ACTIVE RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT.<br>
<br>
THE SALARY IS $346 019.00 MEXICAN PESOS PER YEAR BEFORE TAXES. SOME FUNDS<br>
FOR TRAVEL AND OTHER ACADEMIC EXPENSES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.<br>
