One Ph. D. postiion is offered in the project "Elliptic geometric variational problems" financed from [National Science Centre Poland|https://ncn.gov.pl/en] grant /Sonata Bis/.

The Ph. D. project shall be supervised by Sławomir Kolasiński and conducted at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics of University of Warsaw (Poland).

/The candidate will only be recruited after being admitted to the Doctoral School./

The research will be in geometric measure theory. In particular, the notion of ellipticity for geometric variational functionals and its consequences are of interest.
