Abstract:

Conformal deformations of flattening and sphericalization of length metric spaces are considered. These are dual to each other if the space satisfies a simple quantitative connectivity property. Moreover, the quasihyperbolic metrics corresponding to the flat and spherical metrics are bilipschitz equivalent.
