The third meeting of the HYKE European network ``Around HYperbolic and
Kinetic Equations 3'' (A-HYKE-3), will be held from 13 to 15 April 2005, in
the CNR main building in Rome (Italy), under the patronage of CNR and the
Universita' di Roma ``la Sapienza''.

This conference is devoted to the "state-of-the-art" in "hyperbolic
conservation laws" and "kinetic equations". Both new analytical results and
numerical methods and simulations as well as (new) applications of this large
class of (time dependent) PDEs will be presented. This event is the third
meeting of the EU funded network HYKE.
