Villa del Grumello, Como, May 07 - 11, 2018,
as part of the
Lake Como School of Advanced Studies program.
OTNM 2018 aims to give a broad and up-to-date overview on various challenging models and problems arising from applications of Optimal Transport, as control of crowd and congested motions, image processing, big data and machine learning, and economics.
A particular emphasis will be devoted to the analysis of new algorithms and powerful computational strategies, allowing for new and quite efficient numerical methods.
Lectures will be held by
Gabriel Peyré, CNRS and Ecole Normale Supérieure
Computational Optimal Transport and its Applications
Alfred Galichon, New York University, FAS and Courant Institute
Economic applications of optimal transport
Andrea Tosin, Politecnico di Torino
