mini-workshop "Variational and PDE problems in Applied Mathematics"

This workshop aims to present some recent works on applied problems which has been successfully addressed in the last few years by variational and PDE methods: 
statics and dynamics of dislocations in single crystals;
emergence of periodic patterns in mechanical systems;
mechanics of locomotion.
